Assuming you are travelling from the Inverness direction,
head North on the A9 over the Kessock Bridge until you come to the Tore
roundabout. Take the 4th exit onto the A832 (signposted
Fortrose & Cromarty).
Continue on the A832 through Avoch and you will soon arrive
in Fortrose. Half way along the High Street you will come upon the
junction with Killen Road and Castle Street and turn left (past the Mace
grocers).
Travel up the hill for about 1.1 miles (past the 'Broomhill
Farm' and 'Mount Pleasant Farm' signs on
your right).
A further 0.3 miles along the road you will see a sign on
the left side of the road for 'Ord Hill', where
you should turn right. Continue up the hill, round the corner past the
farm buildings on your left. On the crest of the hill you will find us
