Visit Fortrose
Fortrose is a lovely little town on the Black Isle, North of Inverness in the Scottish Highlands. Hillhaven is set inland of the town, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. The town its self is situated approximately 6 miles from Inverness, around a 10 minute drive over the Kessock Bridge with beautiful views over the Beauly Firth (an inlet of the Moray Firth).
Fortrose is a small town, with a few places to eat; what it lacks in numbers it makes up for in quality. The Anderson has a fantastic restaurant featuring in many guidebooks to Scotland, offering good quality pub food. The Eilean Dubh is another popular restaurant, bookings are recommended. Crofters, down by the shore at Rosemarkie is another favourite. There's also a chip shop and a supermarket, not forgetting the city of Inverness with its many restaurants is only a ten minute drive away!
